I've been working with Ina on the upcoming show the last few days, and I really like where it is going. It's called 'I let go and hope to see you soon' and will feature 5 new drawings of us each. We have found a great location, but you will see for yourself when we drop the flyer later this week.

Two days ago my girlfriend left and today I took down my show at babel, so it's time for new projects again. I'm working on a new, yet untitled, show with the very talented miss Ina Marie Winther Åshaug. We got some great ideas so more on that soon,the opening will be the 19th of Febraury, so there's lots to do. In the mean time you can see the collages I did for my show at babel a little bit bigger now and I put up two extra drawings from my show also.

Friday was the opening of my show in gallery babel and I just put up the pictures. The opening night was fun and lasted long. Thanks to everybody who showed up, I had a great night. My girlfriend arrived here today so the next few days will be days less about art and more about love, but after that some new things will come.

Well, it's almost show time. I put up everything yesterday so today is an extra day to see if I still need something extra for the show. The last few days have been great, it's so nice to fill your days with making art or thinking about making art. I have some new plans now that I am done for my show, since I have a month to go before I head back. Opening pictures will follow after the weekend.

I dropped by at gallery Babel today to see the space where I will exhibit and it looks really good. Another good thing is that the temperatures are much better now, it's still freezing but no frozen facial hair anymore. Meanwhile I'm working on new work , I'm gonna show different size drawings & collages, all inspired by Trondheim and my stay here. If you are in the neighbourhood the 22nd of january, make sure to come by.

It's cold here. Minus 18 degrees celcius seems to be a normal temperature the last few days around here, but apart from some icy facial hair I'm doing fine. Sylvia and Ashkan went back to Holland yesterday so now it's time for art. I've been working on some pretty big charcoal drawings and I really like where it's going. They will be part of my show here so when that is done I will show everything here.

I arrived in Trondheim yesterday and I was blown away by the beauty. Lots of snow, lots of beautiful houses, a great place to stay for two months. The pictures above are my studio, and my studio view, not bad if you ask me. Dear friends Sylvia and Ashkan are here as well for a few days and since Sylvia grew up here they will show me around the next few days so I can get to know the place a little bit better. After that it's back to work, I have a show opening here in gallery Babel the 22nd of january, so there's lots to do. Will keep you updated.

Today I'm taking down my work at the city hall in Utrecht, thanks to everybody who showed up. Due to sickness I wasn't able to produce work with Anne Marijn Koppen last weekend, but we will work together next year. 2009 is almost done and I'm already looking forward to 2010. The 2nd of january I'm leaving for Trondheim, Norway for two months. I was invited as an artist in residence so I'm looking forward to that. Secondly I will have a solo show at lokaal 4 in Amersfoort which will be called 'This life was never meant for happy endings'. The show will open in May so more information will follow. And ofcourse I'm working on the follow up of 'All birds dream of being human' together with the subhuman. We're gonna keep it a little secret again but expect something next summer. That's all for now, I hope everyone has a good new year.

This weekend I will work on something new with the talented miss Anne Marijn Koppen. We both don't know what to expect but if it all works out I will show you the results somewhere next week. Also I'm working on the website of Oh Caroline. Expect that one online january. Last but not least I'm invited to be an artist in residence in Trondheim, Norway. So I will go there january 2nd, till the end of february. I can't wait to see what's gonna happen over there. Ofcourse this is the place where you will be updated on that matter.
